Does Your SEO Strategy Include YouTube?

What is the second largest Search Engine in the world? YouTube. According to ComScore YouTube search volume exceeds Bing and Yahoo! It is surprising that website owners, strategy makers and SEO service providers often neglect or fail to formulate & act on YouTube optimization. Everyday YouTube gets billions of views and you should setup a strategy for this large volume of potential customers.

Optimizing YouTube requires almost the same set of rules required for any other search engine. One thing you should be clear about YouTube SEO optimization is that the video contents are not as visible as text contents to the search engines like Google. The surrounding texts that accompany the video play an important role for the overall optimization. Following are some tips for effective YouTube SEO for your website and brand:

Use Relevant Title tag:

For the YouTube Title tag, use most relevant tags that match with your targeted keywords and the video. People searching for videos on the YouTube will often see the tile before clicking it.

Increase video Popularity:

A high quality video has different measuring factors. One of the important factors is the number of likes and dislikes. Though this number can be manipulated, but yet the video with more "like" has better visibility and acceptance. Upload videos that will fulfill what viewers are expecting from it. Naturally your video will get more "like" and will drive more traffic to your original site.

Use creativity:

You don't have to create videos like TV Commercials to make it popular and acceptable. Use your creativity and reflect your business proposition on the video.

Customize YouTube page:

YouTube lets you customize the background and other aspects of your channel page. Use you branding image and creativity to fully utilize it. A customized YouTube channel that reflects branding and business proposition will win customer loyalty easily than the videos presented on a regular YouTube page.

Add unique & relevant videos:

Creating videos is not easy for all business owners. Don't add videos that only advertize your product and services. Add videos that offer benefit to the viewers.

Increase Number of Subscriber:

Number of subscribers is an important factor for publisher and video authority. Offering benefits to the subscribed users can increase your total number of subscriber.

Applying effective marketing:

YouTube Videos work as your marketing tool and visitors share an interesting video that they like. Your video should be interesting as well as effective in terms of marketing.

Description and Tags:

YouTube Video description and Tags work as they work for your website. Choose most relevant tags and useful description on your videos as well.

YouTube videos with positive reviews and comments inspire new viewers to completely view the video and share it. Reply to the comments added so that viewers return back to your video and increase your video-total-view.

YouTube videos are shown as part of Search Engine Results on the SERP pages. Optimizing YouTube video will benefit you o drive more traffics from YouTube and would enhance your SERP positions.

Colon Cleaning UV Light; a Concept

Colon Cancer is a killer and about the only way to prevent it from killing you early in life is to detect it in the beginning stages in order to treat it. There are many foods you can eat to keep your colon working well and keep out the bad bacteria build up. Eating right and staying away from vices can help you prevent colon cancer. Here is a concept, which may help kill unwanted harmful bacteria in the colon. This idea stems from the new advances and innovations of UV light to clean water. The only problem is how do you get light where the catch phrase says; ". . . Where the Sun Don't Shine," well here is a thought that perhaps some savvy science major, academic or innovative medical entrepreneur might want to look into?

UV Light is being used to kill bacteria in water filtration applications. It works so well many sewer treatment plants are using huge units to clear bacteria out of the water prior to allowing it to re-enter the ground water, river or ocean. Hospitals have also used UV light to kill bacteria; there are indeed so many applications for such technologies. Perhaps we ought to look into a small marble sized battery operated UV light Device. One, which can be ingested to clean out unwanted bacteria in the stomach and potentially prevent cancer as well. The small marble size device will pass through the entire system into the stool, cleaning as it goes. Then the patient can merely eat some yogurt and other various things to put the good bacteria back into the system. I propose that the marble sized unit UV light flash a the best cycle for good bacteria and/or the worst cycle for bad bacteria. Ranges near or at 5-8 Hz.

There are many super small batteries, which can be used and the unit could be as small as an M & M candy or could be ingested with many of these little guys at a time on a relatively empty stomach. It will clean out the stomach, small intestines, large intestines and the colon using this UV light. It could be a very simple process and very inexpensive. Although it may not sound all too pretty the units could be used over and over again, by washing them in a set of small plastic containers and shaking them up. Similar to the old contact lenses; Saline solution and/or rubbing alcohol and then rinsing, turn them on and re-use or trade back into the doctors office for official service, recharging of batteries and complete sterilization. If you would like a more complete report on my idea, contact me.

Insightful Overview On Hiring A Dingo Digger

The turn of the decade has kept many people with back-breaking tasks in the yard from the pain of buying essential pieces of equipment that would lighten their labor and cut the toiling time they spend. In connection to this, hiring a dingo digger proved to be the most practical option for them to take. However, there are several considerations that have to be made when dealing with this one.

Before we go any further, let me first define what this machine is. A Dingo is a device that is ideal for landscaping, turf preparation, site preparation and trenching among others. It does the digging job of picks and shovels - a very tiring task which consumes both the effort and time of the users. It is designed with slim dimensions which is a great feature that makes it get down the sides of most houses. Narrow as it is, it can also be used for digging underneath high-set houses.

When it comes to dingo digger use, the person concerned is faced with a couple of issues. These are whether to hire an operator along with it and result or output satisfaction.

Operating this machine on your own could be a rewarding experience most especially if you will be using it on your personal yard. This would mean using the machine according to your preferred time for working on your yard project. In a very cost-effective point of view, having an operator do the maneuvering of this device could greatly cut your expenses. A professional of dingo hire most probably could accomplish everything in fewer hours which might take you a whole day to accomplish. You better resort to dingo rental if you lack the necessary skills as you may have not used it before. Say money is not an issue with you. Then, go ahead and rent it long enough to your heart's content.

Let us now go to the quality of the results that you will be having. There is an advantage of hiring this machine for a longer period of time and using it in according to your work schedule. With this, you can get your yard project done in the exact way you picture it to be. You can also enjoy experimenting as you landscape your yard. On the other hand, getting your yard project completed with the help of a professional can save your valuable time. It can also keep you from having unforeseen damages on your property.

If you have resolved to hire a dingo digger and the service of its operator, keep in mind that this option should not burn holes in your pockets. You can always get in touch with reliable companies offering machines of this type and skilled operators. They can definitely work with perfection as their extensive experience speaks of specialization in the digging field and landscaping. Just take time to do some research for a service provider that what offer exactly what you need exactly with in your budget.

To Kill a Mockingbird - A Book Review

The novel To Kill A Mockingbird revolves around a young girl named Jean Louise Finch who goes by the nicknamed "Scout". Scout experiences different events in her life that dramatically change her life. Scout and her brother Jem are being raised by their father, a lawyer named Atticus and a housekeeper named Calpumia in a small town in the south. At this point in time in the South racism and discriminations towards black was a big issue . The story begins when Scout is 6 years old, and her brother is about to enter the 5th grade. That summer Scout and her brother meet a young boy named Dill who comes from Mississippi to spend the summers there. They become fascinated with a man named "Boo" Radley, a man in his thirties who has not been seen outside of his home in years, mainly because of his suppressed upbringing. They have an impression of Mr. Radley as being this large ugly and evil man. Then comes the trial. Scout's father becomes a defense attorney for a black man, Tom Robinson, who is falsely accused of raping a white women. This has a big affect on Scout. During this trial she gets teased by friends because her father was helping this black man. Scout starts to see the racism that exist. During the trial Scout and her brother and close friend Dill witness the trial. Even though they are young they can see that Mr. Robinson is innocent. Even though Mr. Robinson's innocence was clear even in the eyes of kids, Mr. Robinson was still found guilty. Later in an attempt to escape, Mr. Robinson is shot dead. Scout is extremely disappointed at the verdict and even more at the death of Mr. Robinson and realizes the injustice that exist. Later in a cowardly attempt by the alleged rape victims father, tries to kill Scout and her brother in order to get even with her father for making him look back in court. This is when Mr.Radley makes an appearance again an stabs their attacker. Even though Mr. Radley kills a man he is not tried for murder because he was defending the Scout and her brother. Finally some justice. This gives Scout some hope that is a chance for improvement in this unjust world.

(Discussion of main themes in To Kill A Mockingbird)

There are many different themes present in To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. The first theme which I will discuss is "Prejudice". The whole story revolved around the prejudice views of this Southern community. The whole reason why the trial was going on was because of people views towards blacks in the south. Since the alleged rape victim's father has such a prejudice view towards black, he is embarrassed that his daughter was actually flirting with a black man. To combat this he falsely accuses the innocent Mr. Robinson of rape. If it wasn't for the prejudice view which existed in the south the accusation would had never been brought against Mr. Robinson. These prejudice views in the south created a double standard of justice. With all the negative points that can be found in the story in respect to prejudice, there was a bright spot when it came to the prejudice issue. This "ray of light" came in the form of Scout's father Atticus. Atticus represented hope. Hope that good people still exist. Even in a society filled with hate. Atticus represented the hope that one day things can change

The "Prejudice" theme also ties in well with the title of the book "To Kill A Mocking Bird." In Chapter 10, Scout and Jem Finch get air rifles for Christmas. Scouts father tells her and her brother that it is a sin to kill a mockingbird because mockingbirds are harmless creatures who do nothing but sing for our enjoyment. In the story To Kill a Mockingbird Mr. Robinson is clearly the "Mocking Bird". He is a good man who has never harmed anyone and is figuratively and literally shot by society because of prejudice. The jurors sentence him to death not because he did anything wrong but because of prejudice. He is then later shot for trying to escape this unjust ruling. Mr. Robinson just like a mockingbird is shot for no reason at all.

The second theme which I will discuss is "coming of age". The "Coming of age" theme basically entails a character who evolves to a new level of self awareness through his or her experiences in life. This is clearly the case with Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird. An example of Scout's "coming of age" can be seen when she meets her friend Dill. Dill comes from a broken home and lives somewhere beyond Alabama. Scout who comes from a good home is awaken to the different quality of life that exist and is able to come to a conclusion that life exist beyond the world she knows. Through these experiences she grows more tolerant of others, learning how to "climb into another person's skin and walk around in it." On her first day of school she finds that just like with Dill there are both social and poor classes in society, some are respectable and others not. She also learns that her father is an extra-ordinary man, fighting for a Negro's rights in court. During the trial of Tom Robinson Scout learns about equality and inequality and finally about racial prejudice. By the final chapters of the novel, Scout goes to another "coming of age experience." She learns that good people can still suffer injustice. She realizes this when she see's Tom Robinson suffer injustice even though they did nothing to deserve it. She discover that the courts does not always result in justice. In the end after all of Scout's experiences and discoveries we get the sense that she will not follow the prejudice views which her society upholds. In the end Scout had matured and grown more as a kid, than many adults will do in there lifetime.

The third and final theme which I will discuss is "Justice". In the story To Kill a Mockingbird I feel, the author, Ms. Lee portrays true justice as being best seen through the eyes of the innocent. In the story Scout and her brother, being the innocent, can clearly see the injustice being done to Mr. Robinson. In contrary to Scout and her brother other people in society more specifically the older people in the town, the people who have lived through different experiences, become blinded when it comes to true justice. Or maybe they are not blinded but just choose to ignore it. This is clearly seen when they sentence an innocent man to death. This ignorance of justice can be blamed on the prejudice views which are present and eventually instilled in society in the south. So I feel that Harper Lee is connecting justice with innocence to a certain extent. In my opinion Harper Lee portrays justice as being easily detected. The reason I say this is even the young justice. The problem is society can instill beliefs that can act as a veil and blind the people from justice. The only way to uncover this veil is through people like Atticus who can pass his morality and nobility to the young and the "blinded"

(Would I recommend this book?)

I would definitely recommend people to read the book To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. I found it to be an interesting and powerful book. I feel the book does a great job in portraying the extreme prejudice that existed in the south at that time. I feel this book makes a powerful statement on how justice can be altered through racism. I also think that the themes found in the book are themes which can still be found in our current society and that makes it the more interesting. You can even make a case that prejudice still has an effect in our legal system today. So if you are looking for a powerful book of "coming of age" and the battle for justice I would highly recommend To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

Concrete Cutting - Don't Let a Little Bit of Concrete Stop You

What is Concrete Cutting?

Concrete cutting is a process of controlled sawing, drilling and removal of concrete performed by skilled operators using special saws that use diamond impregnated blades. Unlike the old- fashioned dusty "jack hammer" method, modern concrete cutting leaves a smooth attractive finish and utilizes water so as not to create any dust or mess. There are many different kinds of concrete cutting but the most common are wall sawing, core drilling and slab or flat sawing.

Wall Sawing is the process of cutting openings such as doors or windows in concrete walls, usually no more than 12" thick but in some cases up to 24" thick. This is accomplished by using a saw that attaches to a track on the wall to be cut. This process utilizes an enormous 30" or even larger diameter diamond blade that can cut 12" or more of concrete all of the way through from one side. This aspect of our business requires the most skill and cannot easily be done by your average "do it yourselfer." As stated, wall sawing may entail cutting openings in concrete foundations but may also include lowering a foundation elevation, entire foundation removal and also the cutting of concrete retaining walls in part or in whole. This type of concrete cutting requires skill and experience to cut perfectly smooth plumb and level openings with virtually no dust or mess, so it is a rather expensive service. Most concrete cutting companies charge a minimum of $425 just to take their equipment to a site and cut.

Homeowners that build additions on to their home that have basements or cellars commonly find they need to cut into their existing concrete foundation to add an entry or passage between the new and existing basements. It is much easier and in most cases less expensive to have this service performed during the construction process and not after.

Core Drilling is the process of drilling perfectly round holes through concrete walls and floors. The diameters of the holes range from 1" to 12" round but average 5" for most homeowner applications. In commercial applications core holes can range anywhere up to 60" round and more. Core holes are used for "utility penetrations" such as electrical, plumbing and heating but are also commonly used for venting furnaces or clothes dryers. Although not recommended, core drilling can be performed by an advanced "do it yourselfer" and the equipment necessary to perform core drilling is readily available at your local tool rental and supply store. Most companies have a minimum charge of $250 to core a hole for you and it can take a professional as little as 10 minutes to unload his equipment, core the hole, and reload his equipment. Yet, I have seen homeowners rent the equipment and spend an entire weekend trying to core a single hole and then call a professional to complete the project. Just like with any trade a professional concrete cutter will make his job look easy.

Slab sawing, also known as flat sawing, is used to cut horizontal flat concrete surfaces such as floors, bridge decks and pavement. Slab saws feature a diamond blade that is mounted on a walk-behind machine that requires only one operator. They can cut up to 33 inches in depth but generally only 6" or less is necessary in most homeowner applications. Slab sawing is the perfect solution for making penetrations or openings in concrete floors to access and repair a broken water pipe or sewer line. When a basement or cellar is being remodeled to add a bathroom the concrete is removed to add new plumbing for the fixtures. A slab saw is also useful in demolition work to break up and remove a cracked or unwanted patio, driveway or walkway. Sometimes a homeowner might want just part of a patio or other concrete slab cut in order to alter their landscaping. Attempting a slab saw project can be very time consuming for your average "do it yourselfer" however it can be accomplished. I always recommend spending a few extra bucks and saving yourself some very serious danger and aggravation by contracting a concrete cutting professional.

No matter what your project is, don't let a little concrete stand in your way. Concrete can be a homeowner's worst obstacle if he or she doesn't know that there are companies out there that specialize in removing it very quickly and neatly. To find a reputable concrete cutter I recommend that you start with the yellow pages and always check them out with your local Better Business Bureau or your local Department of Consumer Protection. To get more acquainted with the industry just do a search for "concrete cutting" and check out a few websites dedicated to the subject.

Why Do You Need a Patent Attorney?

You have perfected your invention and it has the potential to solve a problem and make life easier. What next? You need to protect your invention so that no one steals it and calls it his own. In order to protect your invention, you must get it patented by an attorney. Some people believe that patent attorneys and agents are not really required and an inventor can file the patent applications himself and thus save money, however this is just a myth.

When your invention and its protection are involved, you must take no chances and hire a professional patent attorney. You may attempt doing it yourself, but the amount of paperwork involved is huge and in the absence of enough knowledge, you will only end up wasting time and creating unnecessary troubles. Furthermore, if you get stuck in the middle, you will have no help at hand to get you out of the problem.

The patent attorneys are some of most highly trained and qualified attorneys that you will ever meet. They know the ins and outs of the law, and they are well aware of any changes and amendments in the legal procedures in your state. They have years of experience in the field which helps them perform all the legal formalities with ease, and save you time.

Wanting to save money and no mindlessly spend on needless things is understandable, but when it comes to protecting your hard work and invention, you should not cringe for a few hundred dollars. I have seen inventors who try to file their own patent applications just to save some dollars and end up causing a lot of trouble for themselves. The cost of filing and obtaining a patent is much less compared to the money you will spend on marketing and distributing your new invention. As an inventor, you should ask yourself whether or not you would like to make sure that the patent process gets done rightly or risk it for just a few hundred dollars.

A patent attorney knows exactly what needs to be done because he has been in the business for long, and successfully submitted patent applications for several inventors before you. Thus, hiring a well qualified and experienced lawyer will not only give you peace of mind but also make sure that your invention is well protected. You may know how to draft the patent applications, but an experienced lawyer can always make those applications look much better.

When choosing a patent attorney, there are a few important factors that you must consider. You must choose a lawyer who has filed patent applications for inventions in your field. An engineering degree could be an added advantage. It is important that you verify the credentials and get details regarding the experience and educational background of the professional. You may ask the attorney how many patents he has filed till date, and for which type of inventions. You may interview a few professionals before choosing a patent attorney that perfectly suits your requirements.

A Summer Wedding

The sunshine had come out to ensure the wedding of footballer Benji and his wife-to-be Sabine had the perfect backdrop. For the month before the excitement had been growing amongst the players and supporters of St Cernin de l'Herm, a village in the south west of France, as the day came ever closer. We had already been out for a meal and made the bride and groom walk around the restaurant whilst eating a banana - with no hands. A large poster of the team picture had been printed and everyone had signed it and written a good luck message. So by Saturday afternoon the junction of the small crossroads in Frayssinet-le-Gélet was busy with people waiting for Benji and Sabine to walk by.

In France many wedding ceremonies will take place in the village Mairie and then move on to the local church for a blessing. And we were lucky that the two buildings were close by so that a short procession through the village could take place. As we waited friends spread out cuttings from roses and other bushes across the pavement on the route the bride and groom would take to the church. This is meant to bring the couple good luck and fortune and in other areas of France neighbours will lay down sheaves of corn. Then the moment arrived as the couple stood at the top of the steps outside the Mairie and slowly made their way to the church, escorted by their parents.

Traffic came to a standstill as the procession of guests followed behind and walked the 150 meters to the church. In the afternoon sunshine people slowly made their way into the church filling up the pews and taking up positions in the aisle for the chance to take a picture. Once everyone was inside, and we must have numbered 200 or more, the bride and groom slowly made their way through the church.

Camera flashes lit up the dark entranceway as the couple made their way along the aisle; the organist played a tune that softly filled the church. The priest opened the blessing with a short passage from the bible and then Sabine walked up to the microphone to deliver a short speech. She thanked the many people that had turned up to see the bride and groom and that it had been an incredible day. Then the priest delivered a short prayer and a musical interlude with saxophone and accordion was played. The ceremony of the passing of the rings was undertaken with the assistance of the son of Sabine and Benji. He carried the rings up to the alter of the church in a small, padded heart shaped bag and passed them to the priest. The couple spoke a few words and placed the rings on each other's fingers as the cameras again flashed a whirred. Everyone then began to make their way out of the church waiting for the bride and groom to stand outside the church for some more photographs. But the players of St Cernin had one more trick up their shirts as we donned our kit and picked up a football each.

We made a guard of honour outside the church and held a ball high over the guests as they made their way out into the village square. But it was Benji and Sabine who everyone was waiting for. People passed around rice and confetti waiting for them to leave the church and run under the footballs, as they did the place exploded. The church bell tolled and rice cascaded down on our heads covering the players and the newly married couple from head to toe. Then it was time for more photographs, car horns sounding and the children throwing rice and confetti at each other. As the day drifted into late afternoon it was time for a small aperitif and a few nibbles in the grounds of the Mairie. Watching the sun slowly slide behind the church tower as the celebrations moved on into the night.

How To Create More Leads As An Insurance Agent

Generating leads is one of the most important aspects of being a successful insurance agent. Without leads, how will you know who to go to when you want to make a sale? While some leads may not work out, they are a great start and they can lead to even more leads. Here are five awesome ways to create more leads as an insurance agent.

Network

In real estate, the buzz word is "location." But as an insurance agent, the word "network" is the most important word to remember. Networking involves meeting with local business people and creating relationships with them over time. These business people aren't your leads, but you can educate them on what you do and they can provide leads for you. Of course, it should be a give and take situation so if you have any leads that they can go on, you should be providing those as well.

Making Cold Calls

This may be the least fun way of generating sales leads for an insurance agent, but it can also be very effective. Cold calls are when you just start calling people, either from a list of prospective clients that you've received or just by looking them up in the phone book. This can create some surprising results if you are persistent enough. And even if you don't get any leads from it, you still get a lot of practice with your sales pitch and talking to people.

Host a Seminar

Seminars are a great place to generate leads. If you're an ambitious sales agent, there's a good chance that you've spoken at a few seminars during your career. But instead of just speaking at a few of them, why not host your own? This allows you the flexibility to create an event with your existing customers and you can encourage them to bring their friends which can be great sales leads for you. It also gives you a great deal of credibility. Just remember to leave the major sales pitch until the end of the presentation or you may turn some people off before you even get started.

Volunteer in Your Community

When generating leads for your insurance company, it's not always about business. Sometimes you simply have to give back to the community through your volunteer efforts. Look for events throughout your community that utilize your skills and talents and donate your time. As you volunteer, you will build relationships with people that can eventually lead to new sales leads.

Offer Incentives to Current Clients

As an insurance sales agent, you probably have a list of satisfied clients already. Why not tap into that to generate more sales leads? You can offer your current clients incentives for providing names of their friends or family members who may also be interested in the products and services that you are selling.

These five suggestions for generating more sales leads have proven to be successful for many insurance sales agents and they can work for you, too. Try to implement them in your strategies and see if you notice a difference.

Three Ways to Increase Your Website Profits

Your website is up and running and you're ready to make your mark on the World Wide Web. You're getting some traffic using pay-per-click ads, but your website profits just aren't what you expected them to be. What do you do? You need to work on increasing your website profits using proven techniques that actually work. Here are three tried-and-true tips and tricks that proven Internet entrepreneurs use to maximize their website profits.

1. Forget Paying for Visitors

When you're paying a pay-per-click service for each visitor that comes to your website it can eat up a significant portion of your website profits. Your goal should be to obtain organic website traffic. Organic traffic is traffic that reaches your site via organic search engines results, blog reviews, article directories and other sources that you don't have to pay for. In order to do this you need to work on your website's SEO and marketing techniques.

SEO doesn't happen overnight. You need to ensure your site is SEO optimized and that the search engines can find it. You also need to work on getting links to your site published on other sites across the Web. You may have to rely on pay-per-click advertising in the beginning when your site is new, but as your site grows and your SEO efforts pay off, you can forget putting your website profits into pay-per-click advertising and begin to profit from the organic traffic that your website receives.

2. Don't Assume First-Time Visitors Will Buy

If you think that your website visitors are going to be buying from you the very first time they visit your site, you're sorely mistaken. In fact very few visitors do purchase from a site the first time they visit it. The truth is, if you don't capture email addresses from visitors who come to your site, you're losing out on potential website profits. When a visitor first sees your website, it's a foot in the door. It probably won't lead to a sale, but it is a chance to capture that visitor's email address. Exactly how do you do this?

Offer website visitors a valuable coupon, product or service for providing you with their email address. For example, you can offer a coupon for $5 off a $50 order if they simply enter their email address into a form on your site. Once you have this email address you can stay in contact with the website visitor, making them aware of special offers and savings opportunities. This will increase the chance that the visitor will return to your site and actually make a purchase, which will in turn equate to increased website profits.

3. Make Sure Your Website Isn't Experiencing Downtime

Your website profits are directly linked to your website downtime. After all, your site can't be making sales if customers aren't able to access it. You need to make sure your site is up and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If your website experiences more downtime than it should, you're not only losing website profits but your site's reputation is also at stake.

Most web hosts advertise 99.9 percent uptime, but that's on a good day and it's an estimate that the hosting site itself provides. How do you know what your website downtime really is? Is your site really up 99.9 percent of the time? The only way to tell if website downtime is eating away at your website profits is to utilize a website monitoring service. A website monitoring service will let you know if you're experiencing higher-than-normal downtime or system slowdowns. If you notice that your web server is interfering with your customer's accessibility and your website profits, you can take measures to upgrade your hosting plan or move to a different web host altogether. Without a website monitoring service, you can't really get a good picture of how your website downtime is affecting your website profits.

Money Talks:

Remember, the reason you built your site was to generate income. If you're letting little things eat away at your website profits, those little things can add up and your profits can dwindle away to nothing. Make sure you keep the above advice in mind and maximize your website profits, ensuring maximized profit potential and a steady stream of income.

What Is Grape Seed Extract?

So what is grape seed extract and why should you care? These are great questions because this may be one of the most important alternative health medicines available.

Grapes have been used for centuries and historians believed that their roots began around the Caspian Sea, which is the largest lake in the world which is north of Iran and south of Russia.

Of course grapes and wines go together like peanut butter and jelly. In fact archeologists believe that the first uses of wine were around the country of Georgia near the Caspian Sea or northern Iran in 7,000 BCE. The BCE stands for before Common Era which is the same thing as BC that means before Christ.

Grape seed extract didn't really see a movement until people started seeing the health benefits of this substance. To make a long story short a bunch of sailors nearly died of scurvy. It's a condition in which someone doesn't get enough Vitamin C.

Native Americans saved their lives by making a tea from pine bark. A researcher saw this story then did some research and discovered something called OPC's that was also in grapes. OPC's in grapes were also more potent than in pine bark.

So what the heck is OPC's? In a nutshell they are found in certain plants for instance blueberries contain them, green tea, pine bark, grapes, cranberries and some others.

OPC's are very helpful and in fact they support every system in the human body and are basically an antioxidant. The other antioxidant that you probably have heard about is resveratrol since it is more popular.

The funny thing is that there are more OPC in grapes and wine than resveratrol. To give you the low down on what makes resveratrol so popular is because it can activate the SIRT 1 gene and slows caloric absorption.

In theory when someone consumes fewer calories they produce fewer free radicals that do damage to their body. This in turn allows them to live longer and studies on rats, worms and fungi prove it.

Another nifty benefit of eating grapes has to do with the French Paradox. No it's not a science fiction series that involve the French. The French paradox is the fact that many French people don't suffer from heart disease even though they eat so much saturated fats.

Remember doctors believe that saturated fat is a big contributor to heart attacks and other health issues. Some scientists believe that the reason for this paradox is because the French drink so much wine.

Studies also support that grapes can prevent hardening of the arteries and prevent heart disease. Other benefits include improving the immune system, protecting the brain, fighting cancer and much more.

You might be thinking that grape seed extract is wonderful but are there any negative side effects. Like nearly all alternative health herbs there could be interactions with prescription drugs for instance like blood thinners.

Also there have been limited studies on humans so a few of the benefits like making humans live much longer may not be accurate. In conclusion this alternative medicine is awesome and I consume it.

The best way to take grape seed extract is with a dietary supplement. The dietary supplement industry can be tremendously helpful, confusing and also can be harmful.

The reason these products can be harmful is because companies don't even have to test a product to see if it's safe and many products have been recalled for being dangerous.

Candida Albicans: The Many Symptoms Of This Opportunistic Yeast Organism

Candida Albicans is a yeast organism and is just one of the many types and strains of gut bacteria found living naturally in the body. It is kept under control by the immune system and by the presence of the other gut flora.

However, once something upsets the delicate balance of flora, candida quickly takes the opportunity to multiply which then leads to a chronic yeast infection. There are a number of causes of candida overgrowth.

Use of antibiotics, the pill and HRT, use of steroid creams and injections, use of hydrocortisone creams and injections, an impaired immune system, use of chlorine and fluoride, junk food diets, non- steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and stress to name but a few.

Once candida takes hold it changes form a yeast form to a fungal form, putting out little hair-like roots which attach to the intestinal wall. As the candida thrives, it gives off a number 79 identified toxins. The candida organism enters the bloodstream allowing it to reach other tissues in the body resulting in many systemic effects involving joints and skin problems.

Symptoms of candidiasis are many and varied and range from allergic, emotional and mental to intestinal and urinary issues as follows:

Vaginal thrush, bloating, bowel problems, constipation, diarrhoea, inflammation of the stomach lining, oesophagus, colon and bladder, athletes' foot, prostatitis, menstrual problems, asthma, migraines, headaches, depression, confusion, irritability, lack of concentration, drowsiness, insomnia, memory lapses, lethargy, bronchitis, hives, earache, chemical and food sensitivities, hay fever, fungal nail growth, ringworm, rashes, itching, nasal congestion, sinusitis, post-nasal drip, anxiety, feeling "spaced out," jittery, indecisiveness, junk food diets.

There are other symptoms such as a weakened immune system where the body is defenceless against infections and all that entails but I hope the above gives you some idea as to how devastating candida can be to your health.

So, if you are suffering from any of the above symptoms and your doctor has ruled out anything sinister, the chances are you are suffering from candidiasis.

The main thing is that this yeast infection overgrowth can be cured. However most candidiasis is long-standing and treatment will have to be followed for as long as necessary to prevent a re-occurrence of symptoms. For some people it's a matter of months before they are clear and for others it could be as long as one to three years; everyone is different and unfortunately there is no quick fix.

As a starting point, take out the foods from your diet which feed candida. Sugar is one of the main things to avoid. If you've ever put sugar on top of a yeast solution you will soon see how it activates the growth of the yeast. By constantly eating sugary things you are actually feeding the candida what it needs to grow!

Some other foods to avoid are anything fermented, yeast products, dried fruits, smoked products, mushrooms, artificial sweeteners.

Try to look at the foods you can eat rather than those you can't and imagine a life in the near future where you will be symptom free!

Spam, False Positives, and Autoresponders

Spam. Just the mention of it makes us cringe. Although there are some who deliberately engage in unethical email marketing, most of us, I'm happy to say, do not. Instead, we prefer to market to those who want the content we send them. This is where autoresponders come in.

If you either have your own online business or have considered starting one, then no doubt will have some knowledge of autoresponders. They are the cute little programs that enable us to send out email messages automatically, depending upon the action of someone who wants to download some information that we offer, or who simply wants to stay in touch.

But, spammers are managing to penetrate even the most effective email filters. More of it is getting through, and those companies that offer an autoresponder service have begun to notice that what should be bona fide email campaigns are often nothing less than spam campaigns. At the risk of upsetting the powers-that-be, they have started introducing anti-spam software of their own to help customers to avoid sending spammy messages of their own.

And therein lies the problem.

Perfectly bona fide messages are being given high spam scores. This is known as a false positive. A false positive is a term that comes from the world of statistics, and it simply means that something that isn't is being classified as if it is. False negatives are just the opposite. They refer to instances when something is, but has been flagged as being something else.

In any case, false positives are plaguing the attempts of autoresponders to minimize the spam its customers send out.

I had this experience the other day, and this prompted me to contact the company that I use.

That company assured me that the high spam score was nothing more than a warning for me, and that my message would be sent out regardless. It was simply intended to tell me that the message could be interpreted as spam by the email software of others - the people on the receiving end of my message.

But, that wasn't the full story.

It turns out that it's not the message at all; instead, it's the home domain that gets blacklisted. I used the "contact us" link on the web page of the third-party who created the software to point out that Ezines itself should not be on their blacklist. Then I contacted the folks at the article directory to tell them of this.

Bottom line: If you message is flagged by your autoresponder, then call them and tell them how unhappy you are. Maybe if enough of us do it, they'll stop being overcautious.

Animoto and the 1st Music Ad by Avante 5 "Slippery Globes"

I just tried out the FREE service provided by the company Animoto. Many of you out there may have already heard about what they offer. But for those of you who aren't Animoto is a terrific service for anyone interested in making their own videos (or branding visuals) using video clips and photos.

Animoto's FREE service gives you the opportunity to make 30 second videos with the ability to add any music you want to generate a very clean and streamlined package that takes only minutes to create - from start to finish.

The process is easy. You just upoad the video clip or photos you want to use and organize them in any order you want. You can even upload the same photo or video clip multiple times if you want to create a loop. Then you can add some, but very little, text if you choose. Next you can add music or other audio to spruce up your mini-production. The last step is to click on the "Produce Video" button and wait a few minutes for the video to render.

Once the video is finished you can download the video as a mP4 file right on to your computer and upload it to places like YouTube, Vimeo, or your own website and blog. Or you can access embedding code to put it right on to your blog directly from Animoto. All of these feature remember are FREE!

Here are 3 ideas for how to use their FREE service in your own marketing, promotional, and branding approaches.

1. Produce enough videos to develop a low-budget promotional DVD about your business or artistic projects. Just collect the mP4 files from Animoto and arrange them for DVD.

2. Another idea is to build on-line relationships with other artists, businesses, or marketers to get them to allow you to embed your videos on their websites or blogs.

3. And finally, to make:30 second ads or commercials with contact information at the end of the video. Depending on your business or project you can drive on- or off-line traffic to your store front or website with the contact information you leave at the end of the video. By contact information I mean you provide a website URL, a phone number, or street address to get people to respond to your brief, but powerful, video presentation.

I would highly recommend the Animoto service to anyone interested in cheaply branding their band, company, or website on the Internet. In fact, my whole approach to promoting and marketing my music and writing is exclusively through the use of FREE services such as Bandcamp (music download, purchases, listing building, and payments), Google Images (visual illustrations, free pictures), YouTube (related videos, video promotion), Blogger (article writing, website development, and building on-line relationships), iContact (e-mail and contact management), g-mail (e-mail service), and now Animoto (easy video creation and promotion). Later on, I will probably do more with Twitter and other social media, but for now my interest is strongly focused on building on-line relationships with friends and fans.

In my opinion, the best way to begin building an on-line business is to do it cheaply. After you've gotten some traction with your content, developed a clear concept of what you're going to create, and settled upon how to construct your network of on-line tools and services that's when you should start making your initial investments. Because any money you put in before you reach a point of clarity about what you're doing and why is just a waste of resources.

So now I'd like to debut my very first music ad using Animoto featuring the song "Slippery Globes." I figured out how to turn a simple video into a very effective marketing and branding tool for FREE. To check it out, click here.
